Tromie is a fictional giant animal and an antagonist featured in the Tromaverse series of films. He appeared in the 1991 movie Class of Nuke 'Em High 2: Subhumanoid Meltdown.
Biography[]
Tromie was once a normal squirrel that inhabited the area near the Tromaville Institute of Technology in Tromaville, New Jersey. The squirrel had been exposed to toxic waste that he found in a protective case that had been produced by the nearby Tromaville Nuclear Power Facility, which caused it to mutate. It became monstrous in appearance and grew to a fantastic size, and was several stories tall.
As a giant animal, Tromie went berserk and began rampaging across the T.I.T. campus. It smashed through buildings and stomped on vehicles, causing numerous fatalities. It grabbed the head of the science department, Melvina Holt, with the intent of eating her, but instead decided to drop her and she fell to her death.
The military sent in two helicopters with a giant fake acorn decoy to lure Tromie away from the campus. The two pilots argued whether or not to lure him to North Tromaville or South Tromaville. Upon discovering that both of their mother-in-laws lived in East Tromaville, they decided to lure him there instead. What became of Tromie after this is unknown.
