Trichokinesis is a super-power. It represents the ability to manipulate hair follicles on a person's body, or in the most bizarre of cases, hair follicles on other people. Ewwww. Sometimes trichokinesis may be a subset of another power. For example, shape-shifters can manipulate any part of their body to change their appearance. By extension, this includes their hair as well. In the case of werewolves, there are those can prompt their transformation from human form to wolf form through strength of will, which includes the spontaneous growth of body hair. In some cases, even the color of hair can be changed.
As a singular power, there are not many individuals who possess this power. It could be argued that the gorgons of myth can manipulate their hair. In truth however, their head is crowned by a nest of snakes, which are animals, and not actual hair.
The most notable example of trichokinesis is the comic book character Medusalith Amaquelin, often referred to as just Medusa. She can manipulate and control every fiber of hair, which is also superhumanly strong, and seemingly unbreakable. Medusa can use tendrils of hairs as rope or snares, which is ideal for entangling and trapping enemy combatants.
