Transformers: Age of Extinction is an American feature film of the science fiction genre with an emphasis on giant robot combat. It is based on the Transformers multimedia franchise by Hasbro and is the fourth film in the Transformers live-action film series. The movie was directed by Michael Bay with a script written by Ehren Kruger. It was produced by Paramount Pictures and Di Bonaventura Pictures in association with Hasbro and premiered theatrically in the United States on June 27th, 2014. This installment shifts gears, as it were, from the human supporting cast of the previous films, and introduces brand new characters in the form of Cade Yeager, played by Mark Wahlberg, Harold Attinger, played by Kelsey Grammer, Tessa Yeager, played by Nicola Peltz, and Lucas Flannery, played by T.J. Miller. Oh yeah, and we finally get Dinobots! Sorta.
