Tracy Tormé is an American television producer and teleplay writer born in Los Angeles, California on April 12th, 1959. His earliest work was as a staff writer on Saturday Night Live during the 1982-1983 season. Beginning in 1988, Tracy worked as an executive story editor and creative consultant on Star Trek: The Next Generation. He was credited as an editor on 25 episodes and as a consultant on 22 episodes between 1988 and 1989. He also wrote the screenplay for six episodes of the series, sometimes credited under the name Keith Mills ("The Royale") and Terry Devereaux ("Manhunt").
In 1993, Tracy wrote the script for the alien abduction film Fire in the Sky. Beginning in 1995, he served as co-creator on the reality-hopping sci-fi series Sliders and also worked as an executive producer on 47 episodes between 1995 and 1997. From 2002 to 2003, he was an executive producer on the series Odyssey 5. He produced 19 episodes and co-wrote two episodes, "Time Out of Mind" and "Dark at the End of the Tunnel".
Tracy Tormé also wrote the teleplay for three episodes of the 1995 relaunch of The Outer Limits. He worked on "Nightmare", "Rule of Law" and "Human Trials".
