"Tough Cookie" is a fictional musician and a minor character featured in the "Vampire Chronicles" series of novels by author Anne Rice. She appeared in the 1985 novel The Vampire Lestat. A version of the character also appeared in the 2002 featured film Queen of the Damned.
Biography[]
Tough Cookie was a young woman during the 1980s. Along with Alex and Larry, she formed one-third of the heavy metal band known as Satan's Night Out. Tough Cookie played the keyboards for the group. The three of them met the vampire known as Lestat de Lioncourt, who was enraptured by the frenetic energy of their music, and became part of the band. Re-naming themselves "The Vampire Lestat", they became famous rock stars with Lestat as their front man. [1]
