"Miracle Day: The New World" is the first episode of season four of the science fiction television series Torchwood, and the thirty-second episode of the series overall. It is the first chapter in the "Miracle Day" storyline. The episode was directed by Bharat Nalluri with a script written by Russell T. Davies. It first aired on Starz TV on July 8th, 2011.
