"Day One" is the second episode of season one of the British science fiction television series Torchwood. The episode was directed by Brian Kelly with a script written by Russell T. Davies. It first aired in the United Kingdom on BBC Three on October 22nd, 2006. It first aired in the United States on BBC America on September 8th, 2007. In this episode, a meteor lands, releasing a disembodied alien entity that takes possession of a young girl named Carys Fletcher. The alien requires orgasmic energy for sustenance, so it has Carys fornicating her way through Cardiff. Random bathroom encounters and steamy lesbian make-out sessions ensue.
