"Children of Earth: Day Two" is the second episode of series three of the BBC Wales science fiction television series Torchwood and the twenty-eighth episode of the series overall. It is the second chapter in the "Children of Earth" storyline, which comprised all of series three. The episode was directed by Euros Lyn and written by John Fay. It first aired on BBC One in the United Kingdom on Tuesday, July 7th, 2009. It first aired on BBC America in the United States on July 21st, 2009. In this episode, Gwen Cooper and Ianto Jones find themselves having to go into hiding to avoid the government squad's action against them and their respective families. Both Gwen and Ianto are worried about what has happened to Jack. Jack's body is recovered by the hit squad and he starts to regenerate. Meanwhile, the government await the 456's arrival.
