Tony DeHerrera is a fictional camper and a supporting character featured in the Sleepaway Camp film series. Played by actor Mark Oliver, he appeared in the 1989 film Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland.
Biography[]
Tony DeHerrera was a Mexican American man born in East L.A. around the year 1972. As a teenager, he became absorbed into the local gang culture, but secretly longed for a way out. In 1989, he was sent to Camp New Horizons.
While there, Tony became attached to a girl named Marcia Holland. A romance began brewing between the two, but was disrupted by the presence of a serial killer within the camp. Angela Baker, who had been posing as a fellow camper named Maria Nicastro began slaughtering the other campers as well as the staff counselors.
Tony and Marcia were the only two to survive Angela's rampage.
