The Tomb of Pharaoh Seti was located in the Sudan not far from the town of Selima. The tomb was the resting place of the Egyptian god known as Khonshu. The mercenary known as Marc Spector found himself here after he was driven to the point of death following his betrayal of his psychotic employer, Raul Bushman. The light of Khonshu shone upon Marc Spector, resurrecting him. Taking Khonshu's symbols of office as his own, he committed himself towards becoming the moon's knight of vengeance. And thus, Moon Knight was born. [1]
