History[]
The Tomb of Kah-to-Bey is the final resting place for the Egyptian Prince, Kah-to-Bey. The slave known as Prem buried Kah-to-Bey inside the tomb, and covered him with a Sacred Shroud. He carved a marking outside the tomb, identifying its occupant.
In 1920, entrepreneur Stanley Preston financed an archeological expedition to find the Tomb of Kah-to-Bey. The expedition was led by archaeologist Sir Basil Walden, Egyptologist Paul Preston, linguist Claire de Sangre, and photographer Harry Newton. Despite great hardship, the group succeeded in uncovering the tomb and discovering the body of the Egyptian Prince.
