"Lord of the Undead!" is the title to the seventieth issue of the first Tomb of Dracula ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It was written by Marv Wolfman with artwork by Gene Colan and inks by Tom Palmer. Colan & Palmer also rendered the cover art illustration. It was colored by Michele Wolfman and lettered by John Costanza. The story was edited by Marv Wolfman. This issue shipped with an August, 1978 cover date and carries a cover price of .60 cents per copy.

Harker vs. Dracula! The final showdown!

  • Dracula was created by Irish author Bram Stoker. He is the titular antagonist of Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, which was inspired by an actual Wallachian nobleman known as Vlad II, aka Vlad the Impaler.
  • This issue carries the approval stamp of the Comics Code Authority.
  • This issue is cover copy code 02143.
  • This is the final issue of the series. Double-sized 52-page finale (hence the cover price hike).
  • The tagline to this issue is "The triumphant climax of the greatest Dracula story of all!
  • This story is reprinted in black and white in the Essential Tomb of Dracula, Volume 3 trade paperback collection, released in November, 2004. It is also reproduced in the Requiem for Dracula one-shot special in February, 1993.
