"The Vampire is Coming! The Vampire is Coming!"[]
Dracula has arrived in Boston in search of Doctor Sun, who has been stealing his power. With his power draining, he does not wish to overextend himself. A couple walking by take note of him and their perplexed stares causes Dracula to lash out at them. After throwing some hapless fool to the ground, Dracula turns into a bat and takes off.
Meanwhile, nebbish fiction writer Harold H. Harold is having an equally challenging time. Having little luck with keeping his latest composition together, he goes to the Midnight Publishing Co. offices to speak with his boss, Mister Greadely. Harold also takes time to flirt with Greadely's secretary, Aurora Rabinowitz. Greadely is mad at Harold's low quality with the latest issue of True Vampire Stories. Harold promises to do better, citing that he has an interview with an actual vampire lined up.
As it turns out, Harold meets a vampire after all when he accidentally crashes his roadster into Dracula. Not knowing what to do, he brings the vampire back to his room. He telephones Aurora to tell her what happened, and she tells him that she will be right over.
Meanwhile in Brazil, Frank Drake has a final conversation with Brother Voodoo. He offers Frank words of encouragement and tells him about the strength of will he used to handle his brother's possessing spirit and their recent confrontation against zombies. Afterward, Voodoo uses his magic to spirit Frank Drake back to the United States. He appears at the Boston train station just as Rachel van Helsing and Quincy Harker arrive.
