Dracula was created by Irish author Bram Stoker. He is the titular antagonist of Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, which was inspired by an actual Wallachian nobleman known as Vlad II, aka Vlad the Impaler.

Quincy Harker's line, "Enter freely, Dracula. And of your own own will." echoes a similar sentiment spoken by Dracula to Jonathan Harker in the original novel Dracula and to Renfield in the 1931 film Dracula by Universal Pictures.
Dracula makes reference to Quincy Harker's recovery from a recent attack wrought by his daughter Lilith. This happened in Giant-Size Chillers featuring Dracula #1 in June, 1974.
Dracula makes reference to when he nearly died in the Transylvanian Alps. This took place in Tomb of Dracula #19-21.
Quincy Harker created a radar system so that his wooden projectiles would home in on Dracula's heart in Tomb of Dracula #27.
