Description[]

Doctor Light flies out of Titans Lair in Teen Titans #44 (November, 1976).
Titans Lair was a cave located in Gotham County adjacent to a cliff along the Gotham River. The river emptied out into the Atlantic Ocean. In the early days of their adventures, this cave was used as the central headquarters for the Teen Titans, which consisted of Aqualad, Kid Flash, Robin, Speedy, and Wonder Girl. A computer system was set up, which allowed the Teen Titans to monitor local events and scan emergency broadcasts.
As years passed, the cave was expanded to a multi-level cave system to accommodate a concealed helipad, a meeting hall, multiple laboratories and various emergency access and exit points, including one that led to the river, allowing Aqualad the ability to come and go by way of the Atlantic.
Although the lair's existence and location was largely kept secret, the Titans villain known as Doctor Light eventually discovered it and invaded it. The Teen Titans discontinued using it after this point. [1]
