Titano is a fictional giant animal featured in comic books published by DC Comics. Much in the style of King Kong, he is a giant gorilla gifted with special physical characteristics. He was introduced during DC's Silver Age, Earth-One era, and is associated with the Superman line of comic titles. He first appeared in Superman #127 in February, 1959. The character has been re-imagined for the Post-Crisis "Original Universe" continuity, as well as the "New 52" continuity.
