Timecop is an American science fiction/action film directed by Peter Hyams and written by Mark Verheiden and Mike Richardson. It is based on the "Time Cop" serial, which appeared in selected issues of Dark Horse Comics, published by Dark Horse Comics. The film spawned a direct-to-video sequel in 2003 called Timecop 2: The Berlin Decision, as well as a short-lived Timecop television series that ran from September, 1997 to July, 1998.
