"Rendezvous With Yesterday" is the title to the first episode of the science fiction television series The Time Tunnel produced by Irwin Allen Productions. It was directed by Irwin Allen with a teleplay written by Harold Jack Bloom and Shimon Wincelberg. It first aired on ABC on Friday, September 9th, 1966. In this episode, the administrators of Project TicToc show off their Time Tunnel processes to Senator Leroy Clark in order to receive approval and additional funding. Doctor Tony Newman, fearing that the project will be shut down unless they provide tangible results, tests out the tunnel by plunging himself through the portal. He arrives on the RMS Titanic in April, 1912 - hours before its fateful collision with an iceberg.
