Thunderans, or Thunderians, are a fictional alien race featured in the ThunderCats multimedia franchise. They are the most dominant race seen in the original 1985 animated series ThunderCats and refer to the main characters of the show, all of whom are Thundercats, and all of whom represent some subspecies of Thunderan.
Description[]
Thunderans are bipedal sentient beings who possess feline physical characteristics, many of which are similar to that of the great cats of Earth, just as lions, tigers, cheetahs, panthers, etc. Thunderans originally hailed from the planet Thundera, but several of them escaped the planet when it was destroyed, settling down on a world known as Third Earth.
