"Trees Made of Glass" is the second chapter of the two-part pilot episode of the American science fiction television series Threshold. It was directed by Peter Hyams and written by executive producers David S. Goyer and Brannon Braga. Both episodes premiered back-to-back on Friday, September 16th, 2005 on CBS. In this episode, crewman Gunneson attacks Molly Caffrey in her home. Caffrey survives, but Gunnesson escapes and she pulls the team together to locate him. Using alien transmission signals found on a videotape, they are able to track him down to an old refinery.
