- "I've flunked out of existence, nearly 8 days with barely any sleep. I can't even tell my fiancée what I'm doing, when I might be back: 'You see, pumpkin, an extraterrestrial probe landed in the ocean and it sent out this weird-ass signal that mutates your DNA and turns you into an alien, and it infected a bunch of people on a ship. They're running loose in the general population. Oh! And by the way, I might be infected, how's your day?...' Okay, I'm done ranting now, sorry."

Quotes[]
- Molly Caffrey: Basic science is out the window, in case you haven’t noticed.
- Nigel Fenway: He’ll probably come back once he hears what happened to Rock and Roll.
- J.T. Baylock: If these aliens are trying to hijack our planet by turning us into them, why the hell pick a guy in a loony bin?
- Lucas Pegg: Hey, I'm glad you're here. Let's take a break from saving the world but do something really important. (Shows Baylock his fiancée's top five wedding invitations) Help me pick a font.
- Sean Cavennaugh: Subsection Alpha 14 of the protocol: "Alien evidence no matter how indirect, must be obtained by any means necessary".
- Richard Tate: You have no idea what you're dealing with here. The nightmares are only the beginning. That's how it starts, then there are headaches, and then people change and they try to kill you.
- Psychiatrist: What you are looking at is the landscape of a different world: the mind of a paranoid schizophrenic. Note the glass trees, indicating a fragile sense of self.
