"Rites of Passage"[]
Bereft of his hammer, Thor has been cast into Temporal Limbo. Because time moves differently in Limbo, he is caught in transitional transformation between his Asgardian form and his Donald Blake form. Arriving on the planet Phantus, he finds the Space Phantom, who helps him to stabilize. Space Phantom tells Thor that he can lead him to his hammer, Mjolnir, in exchange for helping his planet escape from Limbo.
Thor agrees, and the Space Phantom brings him to the castle of Immortus, who Thor erringly believed was deceased. The castle is well guarded however, and now Thor must contend with the suicidal quartz warrior known as Tempus. After a prolonged battle, Thor finally fells Tempus and makes his way deep into the castle.
Space Phantom and he finally find the throne room of Immortus. Immortus has Mjolnir, and has developed great interest in its chronal properties. He agrees to assist Thor and Space Phantom in returning Phantus back to its normal position. He give Mjolnir to Thor who harnesses its power to open a portal through spacetime, by which Phantus can now phase out of the Limbo realm and back to its original location. Doing so however, has exhausted all of Mjolnir's chronal capabilities however. Thor and Space Phantom take their leave.
