Plot[]
In London, England, Thor Odinson taps Mjolnir on the ground, unwittingly awakening the Demon Druid. The two fight, but Thor's hammer cannot penetrate the Druid's force field. Thor pursues the Demon Druid to Stonehenge and the battle continues.

- The comic book version of Thor was created by writers Stan Lee & Larry Lieber and artist Jack Kirby based on the figure from Norse mythology. He first appeared in Journey Into Mystery #83 in August, 1962.
- This issue is reprinted in black and white in the Essential Thor, Volume 5 trade paperback collection in April, 2011.
- This is the first appearance of the Demon Druid. He is later revealed to be a Kree Eternal named Ard-Con.
