History[]
The Thompkins Clinic was a free medical clinic located in Gotham City. It was headed up by Doctor Leslie Thompkins.
In the early years of its operation, the Thompkins Clinic was raided by a gang of thugs who were looking for drugs. They made the overly colossal mistake of slapping around Leslie Thompkins, who just happened to be friends with Bruce Wayne, aka the Batman. Batman arrived on the scene - much to the criminals' ultimate regret. [1]
