Hush is a fictional supervillain featured in comic books published by DC Comics. His real name is Thomas Elliot and he is a recurring adversary of the costumed superhero known as Batman. The character was created by writer Jeph Loeb and artists Jim Lee and Scott Williams. He was first introduced in issue #609 of the first ongoing Batman series and was the principal antagonist of the twelve-part "Hush" storyline. He then went on to become a prominent adversary in the Batman: Gotham Knights series in a seven-part storyline in 2004-2005 called "Hush Returns". He was also the principal villain in the "Heart of Hush", which ran through issues 846-852 of Detective Comics and issue #685 of Batman.
