The Doctor is a fictional time traveler and the main character featured on the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. This is the thirteenth iteration of the character, and the first version to be portrayed a woman. Actress Jodie Whittaker took on the role of the Doctor at the very end of the 2017 Christmas special, "Twice Upon a Time", succeeding Peter Capaldi, who was departing the series.

- The Gathering Coil is the first antagonist that the Thirteenth Doctor ever encountered. The second was T'zim-Sha, whom she faced on the same adventure, who proved to be the larger threat.
- The Thirteenth Doctor created her own Sonic screwdriver, which she described as being less screwdriver, and more multi-purpose device. She crafted it using spoons, wiring, and miscellaneous hardware on Earth, including a bit of "Sheffield steel".
- Like her predecessors, the Thirteenth Doctor does not care for conventional weapons. She doesn't like guns, even though the Eleventh Doctor once used a gun, and she believes that "Only idiots carry knives".

Wardrobe[]
- When she first regenerated from the Twelfth Doctor incarnation, she wore his dark suit jacket, white tunic and black cloak. Given that she was immediately thrust into an adventure, she did not have the opportunity to change clothes.
- When the situation presented itself, she had Ryan Sinclair and Yasmin Khan take her clothes shopping. She spent a considerable amount of time trying on new outfits before settling on one that she liked.
- The Thirteenth Doctor's trademark look is a blue pullover shirt with a rainbow design on it, beige Culottes with suspenders and a light-colored duster jacket and boots.
- The Thirteenth Doctor is the first Doctor to wear earrings as a part of her traditional attire.
- In "Kerblam!", the Kerblam delivery bot gave her a fez. The Eleventh Doctor, played by Matt Smith, occasionally wore a Fez, and commented about how much he liked them.
