"Founder's Mutation" is the second episode of season ten of the paranormal mystery series The X-Files and the 202nd episode of the series overall. It was written and directed by James Wong. The episode first aired on the FOX Network on Monday, January 25th, 2016 at 9:00 pm. This is a standard "X-File" episode with a self-contained story. Fox Mulder and Dana Scully investigate a genetics laboratory that are conducting bizarre and inhumane experiments that give test subjects phenomenal abilities.
