The Lone Gunmen is a short-lived American television series of the criminal investigation genre, with an emphasis on conspiracy theories, government cover-ups and U.F.O. investigation. It is a spin-off of the TV series The X-Files, and was created by Chris Carter, Vince Gilligan, John Shiban, and Frank Spotnitz. It was produced by 20th Century Fox Television, and aired for thirteen episodes from March to June, 2001. The series starred X-Files fan favorites Bruce Harwood as John Fitzgerald Byers, Tom Braidwood as Melvin Frohike, and Dean Haglund as Richard "Ringo" Langly. The series also starred Stephen Snedden as Jimmy Bond, and Zuleikha Robinson as Yves Adele Harlow.
