Season Three of The Boys premiered on Amazon Prime on June 3rd, 2022, for a total season order of eight episodes. It has been a year since the events of season two. Vought International, in an effort to defuse the Stormfront controversy, has released Dawn of the Seven - a major feature film designed to not only make money, but also to humanize team leader, Homelander. Despite this, Vought CEO Stan Edgar decides to make Starlight co-captain of The Seven - and Homelander is none to happy about that. Vought has also developed V24 - a Compound V derivative that gives normal people super-powers for twenty-four hours. Hughie Campbell continues to work for Victoria Neuman at the Federal Bureau of Superhuman Affairs, but discovers that she is a Supe herself. All this, plus the introduction of Soldier Boy! Diabolical!

- The Boys was created by writer Garth Ennis and artists Darick Robertson & Tony Aviña. They were introduced in the first issue of The Boys ongoing comic book series published by DC Comics under their WildStorm Productions imprint. Following issue #6, publication of the series transferred over to Dynamite Entertainment, who completed the run for a seventy-two issue count.
