The 4400 is an American television series of the science fiction genre that aired for four seasons from 2004 to 2007. The premise of the series involved 4,400 people from different points in time who had mysteriously disappeared only to be returned all at once at the base of Mount Rainier in Washington in 2004. Each of these returnees emerged possessing a fantastic superhuman ability. The National Threat Assessment Command (NTAC) is charged with monitoring the actions of the 4400 and evaluating their potential use and level of risk to the world at large.
Season four aired on the USA Network from June 17th, 2007 to September 9th, 2007, totalling thirteen episode. Series regulars who returned for the final season include Joel Gretsch, Jacqueline McKenzie, Patrick Flueger, Chad Faust and Conchita Campbell as well as season three actress Megalyn Echikunwoke. Actor Billy Campbell, who had been a recurring guest star throughout seasons one through three became a series regular for season four. Season four also introduced Jenni Baird as Meghan Doyle - the new director of NTAC. Actor Mahershalalhashbaz Ali, who had been a series regular in seasons 1-3, returned as a guest star for this season. Recurring guest stars for the series include Richard Kahan, Jeffrey Combs, Kavan Smith, Summer Glau, Natasha Gregson Wagner and Chilton Crane.
