Texas Chainsaw Massacre: A Family Portrait is an American documentary film relating to the Texas Chainsaw Massacre film series. Specifically, it chronicles the day to day efforts of the cast and crew of the original 1974 Grindhouse classic, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, including footage from different scenes in the film. The documentary was written, directed and produced by Brad Shellady. It was released on home video (VHS format) by MTI Home Video in 1988.
