Terminator 2: Judgment Day was a three-issue comic book limited series published by Marvel Comics from September to October of 1991. It is the official comic book adaptation of the 1991 James Cameron film Terminator 2: Judgment Day. All three issues were collected in a $4.95 standard size squarebound format, and also as a $2.95 68-page black and white magazine format issue. A Manga softcover trade paperback was published in October of 2008 by iBooks and collected all three issues. The trade edition listed for $9.95 (US). The series was written by Gregory Wright with illustrated artwork by Klaus Janson and colorist Christie Scheele. Lettering was provided by Jim Novak.
The events of the story revolve around young John Connor, a ten-year-old boy who is destined to become the savior of the future. A T-1000 Terminator from the future travels back in time to kill John Connor, but he finds a surprising ally in the form of another Terminator, a T-800 - the same series of robotic killer that once tried to kill his mother more than a decade earlier.
