The Space Phantom, trapped for a seemingly endless eternity in Limbo, found a means for helping his people when he came upon the Asgardian known as Thor. Thor had been bereft of his mystic hammer Mjolnir, so Space Phantom offered to help him retrieve the hammer in exchange for helping his planet. This brought them to the castle of Immortus, who was in possession of Mjolnir. Immortus agreed to help them and gave Thor his hammer back. Thor used the power of the hammer to open a space portal that enabled Immortus to push Phantus back into its proper position. [1]
