Telford Porter, also known as the Vanisher, is a fictional supervillain and mutant featured in comic book titles published by Marvel Comics. He was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby and introduced in the second issue of the first volume of Uncanny X-Men in November, 1963. The Vanisher has been frequently presented as a foe of the X-Men, the New Mutants and X-Force.

- FBI agent Fred Duncan was also introduced in the same issue in which the Vanisher debuted.
- The Vanisher's time with the Fallen Angels was chronicled in the eight-issue Fallen Angels limited series in 1987.
Alternate versions[]
The Vanisher has appeared twice in Wolverine and the X-Men, voiced by Steven Blum. He is a member of Professor X's future X-Men team. In his first appearance, he assists Berzerker in springing the Professor and other mutants from a Mutant Response Division camp. Later, he aids in the retrieval of Master Mold's data core from a Sentinel holding facility. In the present, Vanisher is shown to be an inmate in a Genoshan holding cell. Vanisher speaks to Gambit about how long he was going to be in the holding cells on Genosha.
