Telemachus Rhade was a supporting character featured in the science fiction television series Andromeda. Played by actor Steve Bacic, he first appeared in the eighth episode of season two, "Home Fires". The character appeared in a total of forty episodes throughout the remainder of the program's run and made his final appearance in the series finale "The Heart of the Journey (Part 2)".

- The character of Telemachus Rhade was created by Michael Robinson and Ethlie Ann Vare based upon concepts originally developed by Gene Roddenberry and Robert Hewitt Wolfe.
- Although Telemachus Rhade was not introduced until season two, actor Steve Bacic actually began working on the series with the pilot episode, "Under the Night". He played Rhade's predecessor Gaheris Rhade, a character who would appear in five more episodes (including flashbacks) throughout the duration of the series.
- Steve Bacic is no stranger to the sci-fi genre. In addition to playing two roles on Andromeda, he also played the roles of Camulus and Major Coburn on episodes of Stargate SG-1. He also played Prince Barin in the short-lived live-action Flash Gordon television series. His other sci-fi credits include episodes of M.A.N.T.I.S., Viper, The Outer Limits, The X-Files, Earth: Final Conflict, Dark Angel, Jeremiah, The Twilight Zone and many more.
