"Restraint" is the fifth episode of season two of of the American teen horror/drama Teen Wolf and the seventeenth episode of the series overall. The episode was directed by Tim Andrew and written by Nick Antosca and Ned Vizzini. It first aired on MTV on Monday, June 25th, 2012. In this episode, Lydia Martin suffers severe hallucinations involving the deceased werewolf Peter Hale. Scott and Stiles continue to worry about the infection she contracted and fear that she might be the lizard monster that has been terrorizing Beacon Hills. Contrastly however, Lydia appears to be immune to the werewolf bite that she suffered at Peter's hands. Derek Hale however is unconvinced and believes her to be the kanima. Isaac Lahey, now a member of Derek's pack is only too eager to go after Lydia after being scorned by her in the past.
Meanwhile, the identity of the kanima is finally revealed!
