Taylor Ali is a fictional pilot and a minor character featured in the 30 Days of Night multimedia franchise. He made a single appearance in issue #1 of the first 30 Days of Night comic book series published by IDW Publishing.
Biography[]
Taylor Ali was an African American man from New Orleans, Louisiana. He was the son of occultist Judith Ali, and operated out of his mother's curio shop. Judith and Taylor were aware of the existence of vampires and knew that two master vampires named Vicente and Marlow Roderick were planning a massive raid on the isolated town of Barrow, Alaska. Judith sent Taylor to Barrow to gain proof of their existence.
Taylor flew as far as Fairbanks, Alaska where he rented a helicopter, and despite the rapidly approaching storm proceeded to Barrow. Vicente was present and leaped from the top of a building onto the front end of the chopper. He smashed his way through the cabin, causing it to crash. Taylor was killed instantly. [1]
