Biography[]
Taxco was an alien Arbazan who lived during the mid-late 24th century. She was a member of the United Federation of Planets and an ambassador for her species. In the year 2369, Taxco and several other UFP delegates, including Lojal, Vadosia and Lwaxana Troi came to Deep Space 9 on a fact-finding mission. The station's commander, Benjamin Sisko instructed Doctor Julian Bashir to chaperone the delegates during their time aboard the station. Taxco was an arrogant and haughty woman and treated Bashir as if he were little more than a menial servant. She was unimpressed by the guest quarters aboard the station and made a request to be placed into more spacious environs, even if it meant that Bashir had to give up his own crew quarters.
While escorting the delegates to their quarters, a fire broke out in one of the corridors and the fire-suppression systems failed to contain it. Bashir saved Taxco's life and as such, she developed a new appreciation for him. [1]
