The Talmadge is a fictional location featured on the WB Network television series Charmed. It first appeared in the original unaired pilot episode of the series. It also appeared in the first actual episode of the show, "Something Wicca This Way Comes".
The Talmadge was an apartment building located in San Francisco, California. One of the residents of the Talmadge was a witch named Serena Frederick, who lived there with her cat familiar (late known as Kit). On October 7th, 1998, a warlock named Jeremy Burns broke into the Talmadge and murdered Serena. San Francisco Police Department detectives Andy Trudeau and Darryl Morris investigated the crime scene the following morning. The cat made it.
