Volume OneTales to Astonish, Volume 1 is an American ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It ran from January, 1959 to March, 1968, spanning a total of 101 issues. With issue #27, it introduced the character of Hank Pym, who became the costumed superhero Ant-Man. Ant-Man was soon joined by Janet van Dyne, aka the Wasp in issue #44 and appeared as the cover feature for the next twenty-five issues. The title was reformatted as a two-story per issue series with two cover spotlight characters: The Hulk and the Sub-Mariner. |
Volume TwoTales to Astonish, Volume 2 is an American ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It ran from December, 1979 to January, 1981, spanning a total of only fourteen issues. The second volume of Tales to Astonish was a reprint series, reproducing comic book stories that were first printed in Sub-Mariner, Volume 1 and starred the titular anti-hero, Prince Namor - the Sub-Mariner. Each issue of Tales to Astonish reprinted it's corresponding issue from Sub-Mariner, Volume 1. |
