"If a Man Be Mad!" is the title to the first story featured in issue #68 of the Tales of Suspense superhero anthology series published by Marvel Comics. The story was written by Al Hartley with artwork by Don Heck and inks by Mickey Demeo. It was lettered by Sam Rosen. This tale stars the character of Iron Man. The second story features the character of Captain America and is called "The Sentinel and the Spy!". It was written by Stan Lee with artwork by Jack Kirby, inks by Frank Ray, and lettering by Sam Rosen. Both stories were edited by Stan Lee. This issue shipped with an August, 1965 cover date and carries a cover price of .12 cents per copy.

- Iron Man was created by writers Stan Lee & Larry Lieber and artist Don Heck. He first appeared in the first story presented in Tales of Suspense #39 in March, 1963 titled "Iron Man Is Born!".
- The character of Captain America was created by writer Joe Simon and artist Jack Kirby. He was introduced in the pages of Captain America Comics #1, published by Timely Comics in March, 1941.
- According to the Catalog of Copyright Entries, Periodicals, 1965, page 308, registration number B190444, this issue shipped to retailers on May 11th, 1965.
- "The Sentinel and the Spy!" was adapted into the "The Sentinel and the Spy" mini-episode of the Captain America animated series in 1966. Most of the animation used in the episode are taken directly from panels from the original story.
- Inker Mike Esposito is credited as Mickey Demeo in this issue.
- Inker Frank Giacoia is credited as Frank Ray in this issue.
- The alien race presented in this issue are called Froma. The name is taken from fromage, which is the French word for cheese. Two of the named members of this race, Edam & Gouda, are named after different types of cheese.
- This is the first appearance of Morgan Stark, who is the cousin of Tony Stark. He appears next in Tales of Suspense #97.
