"The New Iron Man Meets the Angel!" is the title of the first story featured in issue #49 of the Tales of Suspense ongoing comic book series published by Marvel Comics. It was written by Stan Lee with artwork by Steve Ditko and inks by Paul Reinman. The second story is called "The Saga of the Sleepers!" and is a "Tales of the Watcher" feature. It was scripted and illustrated by Larry Lieber and plotted by Stan Lee. Inks were by George Roussos and lettering was by Sam Rosen. Both stories were edited by Stan Lee. This issue shipped with a January, 1964 cover date and carries a cover price of .12 cents per copy.

  • This issue carries the approval stamp of the Comics Code Authority.
