The Tale of the Body Thief is an American comic book limited series of the horror and supernatural thriller genres. It is an adaptation of the 1992 novel The Tale of the Body Thief by author Anne Rice. The series was published by Sicilian Dragon and was originally slated to run as a twelve-issue maxi-series, but was discontinued after issue #4. The series was then supposed to continue as a graphic novel, but this never manifested. The book was released between August and December, 1999. The series was written by Faye Perozich with artwork by Travis Moore and inks by Michael Halbleib. It was colored by Scott Rockwell. The series includes painted covers rendered by Daerick Gross. The book was edited by Faye Perozich.
