A tailor is one who makes or mends clothing. On the science fiction television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, the friendly Cardassian Garak worked on the Deep Space Nine station as a tailor. This was actually just a front however for his more unsavory activities in the Obsidian Order. On the CW Network television series Black Lightning, the gentleman known as Peter Gambi works as a private tailor. This is just his day job however. Whenever he's not stitching up someone's trousers, he's busy providing costuming and equipment to Jefferson Pierce to aid in Pierce's nighttime affairs as Black Lightning.
