Although the battle was a victory for the Empire, the members of Rogue Squadron fought bravely, securing a decisive blow in the battle when one of the speeders successfully took down an AT-AT walker. Snowspeeder pilots who participated during this battle include Luke Skywalker, his gunner Dak Ralter, Wedge Antilles, his gunner Wes Janson, Zev Senesca, his gunner Kit Valent, Derek Klivian and his gunner Kesin Ommis.
