Biography[]
Syun Chûjô was a young child who lived in the town of Karuizawa in the Kitasaku District of Nagano Prefecture during the early 2000s. He was born some time around the late 1990s. He was the grandson of noted anthropologist and linguist Shin'ichi Chûjô and the nephew of JXSDF pilot Yoshito Chûjô.
In 2003, Yoshito was showing Syun a toy fighter jet, expressing great pride in Japanese engineering. Suddenly, twin fairies from Infant Island known as the Shobijin appeared in the household. When Syun first saw them, he dropped the toy plane, but the Shobijin used telekinesis to keep it from breaking upon the floor. The Shobijin came to speak with Shin'ichi to implore him to convince the Japanese government to cease using the bones of the first Godzilla in their MechaGodzilla robot. Syun noted that without MechaGodzilla, Japan would be defenseless. The Shobijin told them that Mothra would serve as Japan's defender in place of MechaGodzilla.
Syun was later present in Tokyo when the current Godzilla squared off against MechaGodzilla. He believed that Mothra was the only one who could save the day, so he embarked upon a risky, yet creative idea. He went out to an abandoned school and began pulling all of the desks and chairs outside. He arranged them to form the symbol of Mothra, knowing that whenever someone created the symbol, it would summon the great protector immediately. As he had hoped, Mothra came to Tokyo and battled Godzilla.
During the ensuing battle, Syun was caught in some of the wreckage and momentarily stunned, but was otherwise okay. [3]
