"Healing the Breach, Chapter III: While Sinking" is the seventeenth issue of the fourth Swamp Thing comic book series, which was published by DC Comics under their Vertigo imprint. It was written by Joshua Dysart with artwork and inks by Enrique Breccia. It was colored by Martin Breccia and lettered by Phil Balsman. The story was edited by Jonathan Vankin with Casey Seijas as assistant editor. This issue shipped with a September, 2005 cover date and carries a cover price of $2.99 per copy (US).
"Healing the Breach"[]
The Swamp Thing traverses the tainted waters of The Green and finds himself caught in the Maelstrom of the Gulf of Mexico, where he must contend with monsters from the dead zone manifesting from the form of Dean Merrill. Terry and Tee-Tonti struggle to keep the boat together and find the crazed Jordan Schiller, who is now part of the Holland Mind.
Also... take a trip back to the early 1970s as Alec Holland and girlfriend Linda Ridge participate in political activism. DDI agent Matthew Cable interviews Alec's college professor, Jordan Schiller. That evening, Schiller and Linda cast their votes then watch the election results on television.
