- This episode is included on disc three of the Supernatural: The Complete First Season DVD and Blu-ray collections. The DVD collection was released by Warner Home Video in Region 1 format on September 5th, 2006. It was released in Region 2 format on October 2nd, 2006. It was released in Region 4 format on September 6th, 2006 and again as a Special Collector's Edition on October 3rd, 2007. The Blu-ray collection was released in the United States and Canada on June 15th, 2010. it was released in the United Kingdom on August 22nd, 2011.

Allusions[]
- Dean Winchester assumes the alias of John Bonham when he first meets Scotty. As Scotty correctly deduces, John Bonham was the former drummer for the 1960s-70s rock and roll band Led Zeppelin. Bonham died on September 25th, 1980 from asphyxiation caused by vomiting after consuming 40 shots of vodka.
- Sam makes reference to Jessica Moore, who was killed in the series' pilot episode.
- Reference is made to Mary Winchester who was killed in flashback in the series' pilot episode.
