"Superman vs. Luthor" is the unofficial untitled first story featured in issue number four of the first Superman ongoing comic book series published by National Periodical Publications. The story was written by Jerry Siegel with artwork and inks by Paul Cassidy and Bernard Baily. The second feature is "Luthor's Undersea City" by Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster with Creig Flessel. Next is "The Economic Enemy", also by Siegel & Shuster, as well as art assists by Bob Kane. The final story is "Terror in the Trucker's Union" by Siegel, Schuster and inks by Paul Cassidy. This issue shipped in the Spring of 1940 and carries a cover price of .10 cents per copy.
