"The Circus" is the second vignette from the sixth episode of the Superman animated television series. It is the thirteenth minisode in the series overall. The episode was directed by the team of Cosmo Anzilotti, Bill Hutten, Tony Love and Charles A. Nichols. The teleplay was written by Meg McLaughlin. The episode first aired on CBS on Saturday morning at 8:30.

Jonathan Kent and Martha Kent bring young Clark Kent to his first circus and let him go on his way. He encounters many fantastic things, but ultimately uses his super-powers to resolve various issues. He uses super-breath to blow away the frightening Lady Spider, and uses his ability to defy gravity to easily navigate a tightrope wire after sneaking out onto the acrobat's trapeze set.
